It was a relatively hot day outside which usually garnered a trip to the beach, but rather than risk potentially getting sun burnt Dex had decided he would go to his favorite pinball arcade with some of his crew. He met up with the guys in the heavily air conditioned game corner, the unmistakable clicks and bangs of the flippers smacking the metal ball around as well as the distorted vocal and musical prompts singing from the various themed machines provided a comforting white noise for the five foot nothing twink.
Dex and his buddies spent a lot of time here, it was one of their usual hang out spots. There were usually enough machines to keep them busy for a couple hours or so before they ran out of quarters or patience to keep playing.
The cheeky lad had his eyes on one machine in particular, based off of one of his favorite movie franchises and for whatever reason he was determined to steal that top spot on the winners menu. He wasn’t sure what came over him today, but the younger lad was so determined to put a dent in his plan that he ended up spending far longer in the place. After improving his score enough to actually place on the winner’s menu, with his pockets now empty of quarters and his stomach so empty that it decided to gurgle loud enough to be heard over the electronic sounds of congratulations, Dex knew it was time to head home.
With his stomach only growling louder the closer he made it to his apartment, by the time Dex made his way into the kitchen he was desperate for a quick meal. Turning up the frying pan higher than he typically would when making something as straight forward as a grilled cheese in order to whip it together, the hungry host suddenly had the urge to take a leak. With his sandwiches still on the grill Dex had set himself up for the mistake that happened next...
